I created this butterfly craft for a monthly event for young children under 4 years old. We would have 5-6 educators take groups of 5-6 children and their families on a short tour of the museum, and then return to the main gallery for a group art activity. To prepare for this craft, I hand drew 50 butterflies on strong cardstock paper and made examples for each educator to showcase during the explanation of the craft. During the event, I would assist the educators if needed. This was such a fun, easy craft and the kids loved it!
